About the role and your tasks

Your work is guided by the needs of individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, caregiving, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support needs. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the operations and maintaining good quality.

You will work evenings with hours until 22:45. You will work every other weekend. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes a week.

With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles; permanent care contact, runner, or resource. We are now looking for you who want to work as a resource. As a resource, you work in more than one area. Your shifts will be scheduled within the four home care areas; Klostergården, Laurentii, Södertull, and Järnåkra in central Lund. You are flexible and enjoy meeting new colleagues and working in multiple units.

We are looking for you who

are a trained nursing assistant.
Experience in similar work, for example in elderly care, is an advantage.
To work in home care, cycling experience is required, and in some areas, a B driver's license is also required.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required in both speech and writing.
You also need to have good digital skills, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, committed, flexible, and attentive - with users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their daily life.

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer stating that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023.

About the workplace

The home care of Lund Municipality is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator. We offer service, caregiving, and home healthcare services around the clock to the municipality's users. Home care Klostergården has just moved into fresh, newly renovated premises in St Lars Park. Here we have good acoustics, a spacious dining room, conference rooms, and a rest room. All care and health staff, office, and administration are now under the same roof, which is a great advantage. The surroundings offer a cozy environment with proximity to nature, a newly built gym opposite, and good bus connections with both city and local traffic, and now also its own train station here at Klostergården.
