We are now looking for nurses and midwives for our maternity ward in Helsingborg. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating and varied environment where you, together with a competent team, provide care and support to new parents and their children. With us, you will work closely with both nursing assistants and doctors, and you will play a central role in ensuring safe and professional care.

At the maternity ward, postpartum women and children born from week 35 of pregnancy are cared for. You will meet women with different care needs, where the required interventions and length of hospital stay may vary. The operations at the maternity ward are conducted around the clock. Here, the woman, together with her newborn child and any partner, is offered a single room with its own toilet and shower in new modern facilities designed for aftercare.

We have a close collaboration with the delivery ward and neonatal care. Our operations also include the maternity ward's follow-up clinic, home maternity care, breastfeeding clinic, and neo-shared care. We put the family at the center and want to provide them with safe care based on their needs and wishes.

As an employee with us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you, together with nursing assistants, work closely with the new family. The daily rounds are conducted in collaboration with obstetricians and pediatricians.

A large part of your work will involve informing, advising, supporting, and affirming new parents. Since we have admissions and discharges every day, the pace of work varies, making the job exciting and diverse. There is also work in neo-shared care where you, as a nurse, are responsible for admitted mothers whose children are in neonatal care.

With us in the maternity ward, you will be offered an interesting and developing job, where you care for postpartum women and their newborn children according to their care needs. We meet many different patient groups and families from all corners of the world. For you as a nurse in the maternity ward, the role provides valuable insight into women's health care and serves as a solid foundation if you later wish to further your education to become a midwife.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse or midwife with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

If you have an interest in women's health care and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, we believe you have good conditions to thrive with us.
