Company Description
Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden, generating one-sixth of the electricity consumed in the country. Nuclear power has very low fossil footprints and is a stable and weather-independent energy source. Since 1980, our three production facilities have delivered climate-smart electricity every day, all year round.
Today, around 1,200 employees work at Forsmark, and we are part of the Vattenfall Group, which operates in a European labor market with opportunities for fantastic development for you as an employee. Our workplace is beautifully located along the lovely Roslagen coast.
UL operates buses to Forsmark that have wireless networks on the routes Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark, allowing you to use travel time as working time if/when work permits. Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to the working hours of daytime staff. You also have the option to use our remote work locations in Gävle and Uppsala or work from home if/when work permits.
Feel free to learn more about Forsmark on our website here (https://group.vattenfall.com/se/var-verksamhet/forsmark).
About the Role
Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?
Now you have the opportunity to do so with us at Forsmark. We work together to make Sweden fossil-free within a generation. To achieve our goal, we need engaged employees who want to work for one of Sweden's largest electricity producers while contributing to a better climate on our planet.
We are expanding the security protection department and are now looking for two security protection strategists.
What will you do?
As a security protection strategist, your tasks will include participating in or leading efforts to ensure, manage, and develop processes and operations within security protection. You will work closely with the security protection manager, deputy security protection manager, and colleagues in the department, supporting each other in leading, coordinating, and controlling Forsmark's security protection work.
You will also work with general supportive tasks across the entire security protection area, such as interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements in Forsmark's processes and working methods, liaising with authorities, and collaborating with other operators. This includes areas such as physical security, security-protected procurement, signal protection, training and security awareness, as well as incident management. There is great potential to adapt tasks and responsibilities to your personal profile.
This position is part of the ongoing work at Forsmark to strengthen security protection, and you will have the opportunity to be part of this development journey and make an impact.
