Our Operations

The position belongs to our planning unit. There are 5 surgical coordinators, 3 reception coordinators, and 1 staffing assistant working here. Our mission is to plan and book patients for consultations and surgeries within the surgical area. Now, one colleague is retiring, and another is leaving. Therefore, we need to replace this with someone who books for both surgery and the reception.

Your Mission

As a surgical coordinator, you will be responsible for planning elective patients for day surgery and inpatient surgeries. The work requires close collaboration with responsible managers, doctors, the surgical manager, care departments, reception, and surgery. You will be responsible for maintaining contact with the patients who are to be operated on and providing them with necessary information.

As a reception coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and booking visits to the surgical reception. The work requires close collaboration with responsible managers, doctors, and reception staff. We prefer that you have experience with Cosmic, Orbit, and 1177. You will have a lot of phone contacts with patients and colleagues at the hospital.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse, preferably with several years of experience in surgical care and wants to help drive the organization forward.

Experience in surgical planning and reception booking is an advantage.

You should be attentive, service-oriented, and able to work well with other colleagues, seeing no obstacle in being able to reprioritize and solve problems that arise. Being comfortable working independently is also necessary. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, and we are looking for a motivated and responsible employee who can easily adapt to new conditions. As a person, you are calm, structured, and have the ability to make quick decisions.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position. Working hours are Monday to Friday. The position is for a full-time role at 100%. Start date by agreement. In addition to your workplace-specific introduction, you will also participate in our extensive introduction week for new employees, KULE - Clinical Education at the Hospital in Enköping, where we offer an interprofessional setup.
