Stråningstorpsskolan is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. We have about 380 students. Our students start at Häsängsskolan and attend preschool and grade 1 there, then they move to Stråningstorpsskolan where they attend grades 2-6. We have a close collaboration between the schools as we are one unit. We have quick access to decision-making and a culture where we support, complement, and learn from each other. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach at the school's after-school center but also participate in and contribute to teaching in elementary school.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching in the subjects you are responsible for
• analyzing teaching and results
• mentoring/performing class teacher duties
• parent contacts
• contributing to school development
• collaboration with the student health team, school management, and external parties
• school-wide value-based work
• teamwork
• working and documenting in the operational systems available

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in after-school programs.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as your teaching structure effectively to achieve desired results.

To contribute to the school's ongoing digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and be able to easily engage with digital systems. Furthermore, you are proficient in the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operations require in writing.

Experience working with language development methods (SKUA) is an advantage.

Personal suitability is of great importance.
