About Fredriksberg School

Fredriksberg School is located in Vretstorp, about 20 kilometers outside the Hallsberg locality, with approximately 900 residents. The school is centrally located in the community but close to forests and other green areas. It is a F-6 school with about 165 students and two after-school programs, Biet and Blomman. Fredriksberg School is a school where all students can thrive. Fredriksberg School and the after-school programs have three common development areas for the academic year 2024/2025:

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 4-6, preferably with qualifications to teach Swedish, English, and Social Studies.

Your work is characterized by ambitious intentions towards developing working methods. You have a good ability to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues to develop high quality in students' education. As an educator, you also have a good ability to create and maintain relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents and have the ability to translate theory into practice. You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have the ability and drive to actively participate in the school's change work in relation to the school's development plan. We work based on the competent student where influence and participation are important.

We are looking for someone who is positive, cheerful, secure, and enthusiastic in their work. In your daily work, you should be able to meet people with empathy and understanding. You are also flexible and see opportunities for various adjustments in the operation. You prioritize the needs of the students.
