Lindeskolan is looking for a special teacher
Lindeskolan, Lindesberg's gymnasium, offers a varied and broad range of both university preparatory and vocational programs. We have approximately 900 students distributed across 11 national programs and various introductory programs. Our sports college provides good conditions for both elite sports endeavors and opportunities for effective studies in all national programs.
Lindeskolan has a high proportion of qualified teachers in all subjects. The staff is divided into different teams linked to the various programs at the school. The upper secondary school is divided into four school units, each with a responsible principal, and has a well-functioning student health team, where all professions are represented. There are ongoing initiatives regarding premises, technical platforms, and the development of pedagogical work at the school.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lindeskolan is looking for a special teacher with qualifications in common subjects for upper secondary and lower secondary school. The subject combination should include core subjects, but other combinations are also possible. The role of the teacher also includes mentorship for a group of students. You will be part of a team together with other colleagues in the individual alternative of the introductory program.
You should be attracted by the opportunity to teach and build trusting pedagogical relationships in smaller teaching groups consisting of students with varying educational backgrounds. It is important that you can identify and meet the student's needs with high realistic expectations and motivate and guide the student towards their goals.
We see you as an important and driving force to develop both the program and the subject with students in focus and in collaboration with colleagues. Regular teaching tasks are included.
QUALIFICATIONS
A special education degree and a certified/qualified teacher for upper secondary and lower secondary school years 7-9 are required. Experience in pedagogical work with challenging student groups is also an asset. Depending on the qualifications and/or wishes of the applicants, there may be an opportunity to partially shape the content of the position. You have good collaboration skills, take your own initiatives, and have the willingness and ability to meet and support each student in their learning based on their knowledge level. You are a driven person who thrives on challenges and has an interest in renewal and development. Personal suitability is highly valued. Good IT skills, primarily within Windows and the Office suite are required.
