Your Role

Do you want to be part of the team behind the training simulator for the Gripen system? The cockpit, display systems, and visualization section delivers components to training simulators for the flying Gripen system. We currently have around 15 people divided into two teams, one primarily working with software and the other primarily with hardware. You will be part of a group where different experiences meet in an unpretentious environment. The visual and visible parts of Saab's training simulators for the Gripen system.

You will be part of a team that collaborates, but where each individual drives the tasks on their own desk. Tasks that come into the team are distributed internally, where we also learn from each other and support each other to achieve our own and our common goals.

The tasks for the team can range from:

• Packaging requirements and specifications for a subcontractor.
• Building the cockpit in production and testing functionality before delivery to the customer site.
• There may be tasks related to support and service.
• Engaging in dialogue with purchasing and placing orders.
• Creating drawing documentation and assembling delivery documentation.
• Visiting customers and installing the cockpit on-site.
• You may also be involved in acceptance tests related to receiving deliveries from subcontractors, etc.
• Developing technical solutions for current and future functions in the simulator.

In your role, you will be able to bounce ideas and approaches with engaged and helpful colleagues, where together we build knowledge and develop at work.

Your Profile

If you have an interest in mechanics, electronics, or hardware-near programming and are willing to learn more about these subjects, you are the right person for the job. You are driven, communicative, unpretentious, and enjoy teamwork.

We expect you to have a relevant education in one of the following areas: mechanics, electronics, computer science, or work experience that can be considered equivalent. You have the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. Additionally, you value teamwork and have good collaboration skills, enjoy sharing knowledge, and contributing new ideas. Our operations revolve around simulating flying systems, and it is a plus if you have an interest in this.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
