Planning Officer for FMTIS Implementation Unit South
The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) has a collective responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and management of command support systems within the Armed Forces. FMTIS operates continuously in peace, crisis, and war, meaning that the unit is constantly deployed both nationally and internationally. The unit has more than 1,700 employees spread across over 30 locations in the country.
We are looking for a new planning officer for FMTIS Implementation Unit South.

About the unit
You will belong to the Implementation Unit South staff (GE Syd) with placement in Karlskrona or Hästveda. GE Syd conducts operations that ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock - year-round. The unit consists of over 180 employees distributed across 7 departments in 6 locations within the Southern Military Region's (MR S) area.
Main tasks
As a planning officer, your main task will be to assist the leadership in coordinating, collaborating, and planning within GE Syd. Other tasks include participating in planning tasks within the leadership and assisting the manager and deputy manager in their respective areas of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- OF/OR
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operational, readiness, and mobilization systems (GROP, SOFU NAT)
- Experience in staff service at the tactical or unit level
- Ability to work in ISUS and SWECCIS as well as good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Driving license B
Personal qualities
You are very responsible, structured, and have a good sense of order. You are results-oriented and enjoy collaboration and coordination, as well as seeing what needs to be done and taking initiative. You have high personal integrity and the ability to create and maintain trust. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Experience and knowledge of the Armed Forces' command systems
- FM operations, organization, garrison locations, and contact routes
- IT/Tele/technical orientation
Other
Location: Karlskrona or Hästveda, travel may occur to other locations in the country.
Start date: By agreement.
Employment form: The position is a permanent full-time employment that starts with a six-month probationary period for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
