We are now looking for committed career and guidance counselors for our primary schools, primarily located at Transtenskolan (grades 7-9) and/or Folkasboskolan (grades F-9). As a career counselor in Hallsberg Municipality, you have great freedom to plan and implement your work according to the municipality's guidance plan together with your colleague. Your work is student-centered and includes, among other things:

• Informing and guiding students regarding further studies and working life, and including guardians when necessary.
• Planning and organizing PRAO for students in grades 8-9 and managing individual internship needs.
• Participating in the student health team and contributing to preventive and promotional efforts.
• Being proactive in the school's labor market work, coordinating study visits and transitions to high school.
• Building networks with employers and organizations to strengthen career guidance.
• Supporting educators in integrating the guidance plan into teaching.
• You should have an approach where the student is always the focus in daily work.
• You should work both at the group and individual level, including outreach activities.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary degree as a career and guidance counselor. You have an interest in future and global issues and are skilled at meeting people from different backgrounds.

Meritorious

Experience from primary school and/or high school is meritorious.
