About us

The Lung Clinic is divided into smaller specialized teams: Oxygen Clinic, Investigation Clinic, and Specialist Clinic. At the Oxygen Clinic, the work as a nurse involves teaching and following up on patients receiving home oxygen therapy.

At the Investigation Clinic (URM), patients with suspected lung cancer are investigated according to standardized care pathways. We follow patients from referral arrival to treatment.

At the Specialist Clinic, nurses primarily care for, follow up, and treat patients with chronic lung disease and respiratory insufficiency.

About the job

As a nurse at the Oxygen Clinic, you will receive both outpatient referrals and referrals for inpatients. Patients are called to the clinic or for consultation on the ward. Provide oral and written instructions on the oxygen concentrator for home oxygen. Plan follow-up visits for control. Blood sampling. Home visits. Telephone advice.

The position initially involves a temporary summer position at the Oxygen Clinic, with the possibility of extension.

About you

You will work closely with patients and have a good approach, understanding, and interest in people. You find it easy to listen and communicate with both patients and relatives and always work from a patient-centered perspective.

As you work independently and have contacts with various partners, you need to have good collaboration skills. You are confident and stable in yourself and can adapt to situations and prioritize. To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, accustomed to taking your own initiative, and organizing and planning your work independently.

You have the ability to lead, distribute, and coordinate tasks for the team based on the different competencies of the staff according to the needs of the patients.

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in Pulmonology and/or outpatient work is valued but not required.
