About Praktiska Gymnasiet

Praktiska Gymnasiet is the largest in Sweden in vocational upper secondary education. We know that a good vocational education leads to jobs right after high school, giving our youth a chance to establish themselves in society early. Praktiska Gymnasiet Norrköping

Praktiska Gymnasiet Norrköping started in the academic year 21/22 and is a school that offers six different programs: Construction and Civil Engineering, Vehicle and Transport, Electrical and Energy, Sales and Service, Hotel and Tourism, and HVAC and Property Management.

Your mission

We are primarily looking for a qualified construction teacher. The position is a permanent employment with a 100% working rate starting by agreement. You will teach and guide our students, and together with other colleagues, you will be part of a team with 2 other construction teachers.

We see you as an important and driving force to develop both the programs and the subject with students in focus and in collaboration with colleagues. In addition to vocational-specific tasks, you, like other teachers at the school, will have duties such as mentor, and together you and your colleagues will coach the students both socially and academically throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We primarily communicate through Schoolsoft and work in a Google environment by sharing digital documents, calendars, and plans. This applies to both students and colleagues.

Your profile

We are primarily looking for someone who is a licensed upper secondary school teacher in the construction program. We place great importance on personal qualities and value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs.

Your AMBITION is to reach every student with your pedagogy, with high expectations of yourself. With the help of your STRENGTH, you stand up for values such as sustainability, diversity, and gender equality, and you inspire your students. Through your PASSION, you inspire and engage each student to develop as far as possible based on their own conditions. Our students are eager to enter the workforce, and your greatest task is to lead them there and provide them with the conditions for a sustainable working life.
