Administrative Coordinator at Lärcentrum
The Sector for Competence Work Support is one of three sectors within the Social and Labor Market Administration in Östersund Municipality. Within the sector, there are three units: Lärcentrum, the Support Unit, and the Labor Market Unit.
We are now looking for an administrative coordinator for Lärcentrum.
The position is a permanent part-time employment at 90%, with immediate start.
Lärcentrum has the overall responsibility for all adult education in Östersund Municipality, which includes ordering adult education and infrastructure for adult learning. Lärcentrum's main task is to be a meeting place for adult learning, a broker of education that matches the labor market's need for competence, and a driver for local and regional development through, among other things, competence supply and innovative education. Approximately 4,500 students study annually through the municipal adult education in Östersund.
Your new job
As an administrative coordinator at Lärcentrum, you will play a central role in maintaining and developing our administrative processes. You will be the link between Lärcentrum and our education providers and will be responsible for creating good coordination and functioning routines, both internally and externally.
Common tasks
The position includes:
- Being Lärcentrum's administrative contact person towards our education providers and their corresponding contact persons.
- Coordinating the internal administrative work based on assignments from the unit manager.
- Planning, convening, and leading administrative meetings internally and with education providers.
- Being responsible for establishing, documenting, and making administrative routines available in an administrative handbook.
- Implementing instructions, routines, and working methods related to the administrative work internally and towards providers in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Initiating and coordinating training efforts for administrative staff, both internally and for education providers.
- Being responsible for the introduction of new administrative employees at the request of the unit manager.
- Together with the unit manager/principal, implementing and adapting routines when changes affect administrative processes.
- Carrying out and following up on change work in close collaboration with the unit's system manager.
Your qualifications
You have completed a high school education or post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment.
You must have documented experience working with administrative processes within municipal adult education. You have experience working in student administrative systems used in adult education. The work requires very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have good computer skills and are accustomed to working in various systems.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in the student administrative system ALVIS adapted for adult education.
