Support Assistant at Schedevi Psychiatry

Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has been providing support, round-the-clock care, and accommodation for adults with mental health variations and comorbidities since 1942.

We offer a wide range of care with personal support, social and physical training, as well as assistance in individual development. We have several well-established operations and are currently located in Östergötland, Västergötland, and Småland.

About Us

Region West is urgently seeking 2 individuals for longer-term temporary positions as Support Assistants for the resource team at our units in Essunga and Nossebro.

Our operation in Essunga is divided into three units: Short-term care, Psychiatric care, and Accommodation with special support for individuals aged 20 and over. We also have two LSS units in Nossebro for individuals aged 18 and over. Each unit operates with a work team that rotates across the different units.

The work team consists of various professions such as nursing assistants, housing support workers, behavioral scientists, therapists, educators, nurses, and doctors. We are a wonderful team that works together and purposefully for sustainable development for both our clients and our work environment. Our operation in Västergötland offers new employees internal training with a mentor in the “Schedevi Academy.” Competence development at Schedevi focuses on the opportunity for all staff, groups, and the organization to develop in their work through education, supervision, and peer learning. The goal of the Schedevi Academy is to “Ensure well-educated and competent staff who are happy, involved, and motivated.”

Job Responsibilities

Schedevi is the company that gives you the opportunity to influence the individual's everyday life! In your role as a Support Assistant, you will provide our clients with support and care together with your colleagues.

Your Profile

We primarily seek individuals who are flexible with work hours and have training as nursing assistants, but we also welcome those with other training focused on care and/or pedagogy. Experience working with mental health issues, comorbidities, and somatic complaints is considered an asset.

Personal Qualities

We place great importance on personal suitability and initiative. If you are calm in your interactions and can adapt to different situations, you will fit in well with us. Your sense of responsibility and good collaboration skills are highly valued.

Conditions

We offer two temporary positions full-time/part-time during days/evenings, weekends, and possibly nights upon request. The temporary positions are for 6 months with a chance of extension. Salary is negotiable. A B driver's license is a requirement. A union representative is available. Start date is negotiable and as soon as possible.
