We are looking for an experienced care assistant to Tomtebo and Väst-Teg care and nursing home!

Initially, you will be placed at Tomtebo care and nursing home.

In September 2025, Tomtebo's operations will move to the newly built Väst-Teg care and nursing home. Residents and staff from Tomtebo will then move to Väst-Teg. We are now looking for someone who wants to help start up the fourth floor at Väst-Teg!

Tomtebo care and nursing home is located at Tomtebo by Nydalasjön. The residence has 32 apartments spread over two floors. Each floor has two departments with 8 apartments per department. Each department has a balcony or patio. There is a garden with a patio adjacent to the house.

Väst-Teg care and nursing home is a newly built residence located at Väst-Teg. The residence opened in the autumn of 2024 and consists of 6 floors. There are a total of 120 apartments distributed over 12 units. Each unit consists of 10 apartments. Each unit has its own spacious balcony. On the ground floor, there is a café and a glazed patio.

Your tasks

With a professional approach and a good attitude, you assist our residents in their daily lives. The residents' participation is the focus, and you contribute to ensuring that services are performed with good quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

You will assist with, among other things, showering, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your tasks also include documenting actions and health status as well as medical tasks based on delegation from the responsible nurse.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has solid experience working in care and nursing, preferably in elderly care. As a person, you are responsible, secure, and able to support your colleagues. You share your competence and experience with your colleagues. We consider it an advantage if you have previously had responsibilities such as documentation representative, development coordinator, and BPSD administrator.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Your interaction with the residents requires good competence based on personal suitability, maturity, and empathetic ability. You show great commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have the ability to collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends according to the schedule.

As there may be dogs and smoking in the workplace, you should not be allergic.
