Assistive Technology Västerbotten is a specialist function within the assistive technology and interpreting field. Our mission is to support customers in their efforts to meet the needs of assistive technology users and provide interpreting services to users. We operate throughout the county and are represented in Umeå, Skellefteå, and Lycksele with over 100 employees distributed across three departments. This position is part of the Prescriber Support and Administration department.

The main task of Prescriber Support is to assist the professionals who prescribe assistive devices through consultation, training, adaptations, and special adjustments to meet individual solutions. Our customer service, which is the entry point and provides general advice to prescribers in the region and municipalities as well as directly to patients, is also included in Prescriber Support.

The operation is largely revenue-funded through agreements with municipalities and internal customers.

We place great emphasis on creating a health-promoting workplace. We offer wellness grants or an hour of wellness per week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As rehabilitation staff with us, you provide important service and enable interventions that affect many.

You work in customer service, which is the entry point to our operations. As a customer service representative, you meet prescribers, assistive technology users, and patients via phone, email, and in person at Assistive Technology Västerbotten in Umeå. You also welcome visitors, guide them, answer phone calls, provide advice, and connect them as needed. In customer service, you actively work in our assistive technology system Sesam, in Outlook, and with the TeleQ phone system.

The position also includes administrative tasks and assignments of varying nature. Much of it involves creating and updating various types of documents.

Internally, you work closely with assistive technology consultants, assistive technology technicians, and logistics technicians. The work is carried out in accordance with the overall goals of the operation and is an important part of the services provided by Assistive Technology Västerbotten.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in administrative tasks and who is a licensed occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or has other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, responsible, and have a pronounced sense of service.

You have a positive attitude, are flexible, and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. Experience in administrative tasks, planning, and organization is a prerequisite. To thrive in the role, you need to be able to prioritize and enjoy learning new things.

You have excellent computer skills and can switch between different tasks in various programs. You work fluently in Office 365 and have extensive experience in document management in Word. Experience with collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint is desirable. Experience with the assistive technology system Sesam/Websesam is an advantage.

Your proficiency in Swedish is very good in both spoken and written forms. You are good at communicating and conveying information and have a high sense of service and good manners. You care about good customer relationships and have a strong understanding of business acumen.

If you have worked as a prescriber of assistive devices and have been in contact with Assistive Technology Västerbotten in your previous assignments, that is an advantage.
