Specialist Physician in General Medicine for Sorsele Health Center

The region's primary care provides broad primary care services throughout Region Västerbotten, meeting patients of all ages in both urban and rural areas. With 33 health centers and medical clinics, we are where you are. We actively engage in research and development, utilizing medical results to offer high-quality care where the patient is involved. Sorsele Health Center, with about 30 employees, functions as a small mini-hospital with emergency services, medical consultations, maternal and child health care, and inpatient beds. We provide our population with access to healthcare around the clock. The base unit also includes Storuman and Tärnaby. The entire unit consists of about 100 employees.

We are now looking for a specialist physician in general medicine for our health center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist in general medicine with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. The units are popular among training physicians, and mentoring is an important task.

In the role of specialist in general medicine, you follow your patients throughout their lives. You meet people of all ages with all kinds of health-related issues and independently conduct assessments and treatments. In general medical specialist work, you track an individual's various health issues over time, considering the person's entire life situation in your assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a licensed physician with a specialist certificate in general medicine and have experience or interest in primary care. An interest in mentoring and mentorship training is preferred.

You are a present and positive person who, with expertise and care, sees the patient and contributes to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer.

You are a secure person who contributes to good collaboration through your strong communication skills and respectful approach. The work requires independence and the ability to solve problems, making ongoing decisions in the right order. As a person, you can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You are solution-focused and can adapt to changes in work methods and operations. You enjoy working in a team where humility is key to helping, learning, and uplifting each other.
