Description

We are now looking for an occupational therapist.

The position is a permanent employment with a 100% employment rate.

The position is located in our medical unit responsible for healthcare and rehabilitation, performed by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in the municipality's special accommodations, daily activities, or at home with residents who have difficulties accessing health centers.

Schedule, weekend-free week with flexible working hours agreement.

Job Responsibilities

Perform profession-specific interventions that utilize, maintain, and improve function and resources for the elderly and people with disabilities within municipal healthcare in special accommodations and home healthcare. The work also involves supervising staff and prescribing personal aids. The work also includes assisting in the procurement of assistive devices. You will work according to the social committee's goals and guidelines as well as established operational goals.

You are responsible for making assessments and prescriptions within rehabilitation and for supervising and developing employees in everyday rehabilitative working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. You have a strong interest in working with people and their well-being. You are positive, flexible, and can work independently as well as in a group. In your work, you have a clear patient focus and demonstrate in action that the patient's needs are prioritized. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

You need to master Swedish in both spoken and written form.
