Maintenance Technician

About the position

As a maintenance technician, you are one of our key players in our operations, where several work tasks are included.

Your main responsibility is to ensure on a daily basis that machines and equipment function with a focus on improved operational reliability and availability.

You will be responsible for one of our machines or a group of machines and be our specialist in an area such as mechanics, automation, infrastructure, root cause analysis, or processes.

Your tasks include various maintenance activities, preparing maintenance work, and conducting skills inventory and spare parts optimization.

A part of your time will be spent on ongoing documentation such as establishing and continuously revising maintenance instructions, machine documentation, and drawings, as well as working with object structures in our maintenance system. Therefore, you need to have good administrative skills, and since you will also be the contact person for external suppliers and service technicians, you need to possess strong communication skills.

Your job is independent and responsible while you work closely with other colleagues in the maintenance department and our machine operators. You are part of a maintenance team that also includes Automation Electricians, Mechanics, and Facility Technicians.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a technical education at least at the high school level, preferably with a focus on industry, electrical, or automation, or other education that the company considers equivalent. We prefer that you have several years of relevant work experience from a similar position and experience working in maintenance management systems. You have a burning interest in technology and a good understanding of mechanical equipment and industrial manufacturing. You want to develop in our maintenance technology department where analysis and improvement work is a motivating factor for you. The position requires good administrative skills and proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. In addition, you are structured and analytical, engaged, and have the ability to maintain focus and work long-term.

The position is a permanent full-time employment during the day with placement in Åseda. Start date is according to agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
