JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to influence the future of drinking water production and help us meet our high goals now and in the future? We are currently looking for someone who finds this exciting and wants to help us secure an even stronger drinking water supply!

The Drinking Water Production Department is responsible for the preparation of drinking water at our two water treatment plants and associated facilities. The Operations Development team works directly under the department head and is responsible for being the driving force in the department's strategic work with the core mission of drinking water production.

In the role of specialist with us, you will work closely with colleagues and strategic management in the department to provide specialized expertise in complex problem-solving during critical situations as well as support in strategic issues related to the department's mission as the main process leader for the water supply process. Your responsibilities include working on-site at our two water treatment plants, and in addition to working on operational development and quality issues regarding raw and drinking water, you will also contribute to our goal fulfillment in the environmental and climate areas.

You will assist and coach the department's engineering functions in optimization and development, and you will independently drive qualified investigations as needed. You will participate in and represent the organization in collaboration forums both internally and externally. In your role, you will have a broad network and continuously gather information from external actors to monitor the environment and contribute to development.

Drinking water production is a vital community service, and continuity planning and consideration for protected operations are important aspects of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have specialized competence in your field, and your task is to lead the way and provide decision-making support! We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering in Water and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. You have several years of experience in drinking water and drinking water quality regarding both strategic planning and operations.

If you also have a research background, experience in leadership and/or mentoring colleagues/students, as well as experience in project work, it is a merit.

As a person, you have the ability to see connections and can draw logical conclusions from complex information. You are independent and have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment and drive your tasks forward independently. Through understanding the common mission and showing respect and interest, you work collaboratively with others to solve problems.

The position is classified in security class 2 and requires Swedish citizenship. A Class B driver's license is a prerequisite for the position.

OTHER

As an employee of Kretslopp and Water, you will be assigned to military service within the framework of Kretslopp and Water's role in total defense.
