Are you an experienced C++ Developer with a passion for telecom software development and real-time systems? Do you thrive in a highly technical, collaborative, and innovative environment, working on the core of 5G Baseband and RAN?

At ALTEN Gothenburg, we are looking for a Telecom Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of telecom infrastructure, network components, and real-time software. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in 5G Baseband and network protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and optimize telecom software for 5G Baseband and RAN systems.
• Work with real-time programming, low-latency processing, and performance optimization.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex telecom software using GDB, Wireshark, and log analysis tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Read, analyze, and implement 3GPP specifications and coding standards.

Key Competences:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in telecom software development.
• Strong programming skills in C++ (required) and experience with Linux, multithreading, and low-latency systems.
• Experience with real-time systems, Baseband, and RAN software development.
• Familiarity with telecom protocols such as NR, LTE, TCP/IP, or 3GPP standards.
• Ability to read, analyze, and implement technical documentation and coding standards.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
