Project Manager in Testing and Evaluation
We are now looking for a project manager with experience in leading larger projects and a strong drive to deliver solutions that make a difference. Do you want to be part of qualified projects where you are involved from needs assessment to delivery? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
About the Position
As a project manager in testing and evaluation, you will play a central role in planning, leading, and developing the work within your projects. You are responsible for ensuring that milestones are achieved according to the timeline, within budget, and according to agreed frameworks.
In your role, you will have a broad area of responsibility that includes finance, procurement, resource management, and systems within assigned projects. Primarily, you will work with testing activities for army material, but testing of airborne material systems may also occur. You will drive projects related to both verification and validation as well as other complex operations with both internal and external customers.
In addition to leading and executing the projects, you will also be responsible for producing project documentation, reporting to the production manager, and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients both within and outside the organization. The position is located in Karlsborg. Travel for work occurs, both nationally and internationally.
About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree, is an officer, or has equivalent qualifications acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have several years of experience leading larger projects. The position requires that you have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and possess a B driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have experience working on technical projects. We would also like you to have experience coordinating operations with authorities or other organizations. If you have previous experience with defense material regarding land systems, we see it as a benefit. We view positively if you have experience from the Armed Forces regarding project management and development work.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us.
