Delivery Coordinators at Speed Construction Logistics

Speed Construction Logistics is now looking for two delivery coordinators for a large construction project in Gothenburg. As a delivery coordinator, you will be an important part of the project's construction logistics team with the goal of creating a more efficient, safer, and more sustainable construction process.

About the Position

Your main task will be to ensure that deliveries to the project occur as smoothly and safely as possible, based on established logistics routines. As a delivery coordinator, you will work closely with the rest of the logistics team and report to the logistics manager. You will also have close dialogue and support from Speed's project manager.

Responsibilities:

• Inform and introduce drivers to the project's routines and driving routes on site.
• Receiving, reconciling, and registering transports against the delivery planning system.
• Registering environmental data and reporting any deviations.
• Rejecting unbooked transports according to current routines.
• Ensuring that driving routes and unloading areas are clear.
• Patrolling fences according to the applicable interval.
• If necessary, transporting furnishings and certain structural materials all the way to the assembly site.

Your Profile

You are the first person that drivers and contractors meet when entering the construction site, which requires you to be service-oriented and communicative by nature. Since the tasks in the position will vary throughout the day, it is important that you are unpretentious and flexible in your actions, without compromising adherence to established routines and thus order and tidiness. We believe that you, as an applicant, have a relevant post-secondary education, or comparable relevant work experience, and have likely worked in a similar role before. We consider previous work experience in construction or transport to be an advantage. However, this is not a requirement, as the right person at any given time will always be prioritized for us. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
