Your Role

At Saab and within the defense industry, trends such as digitalization and data-driven decision-making are increasing. This means that communication solutions utilizing both existing military communication and new technologies (5G, SATCOM, Cloud/AI...) driven by commercial technology will become increasingly important. This creates a growing need for technical sales support at Saab.

Working with technical sales support involves representing PU Communications in various sales campaigns where you provide technical expertise. This technical expertise is also used to conduct technical investigations driven by the customer, as well as to carry out investigations regarding procurement of potential 3PP (third Party Products).

The position is flexible in terms of location, with placements available in Gothenburg, Järfälla, Linköping, or Arboga.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience and competence in several technically advanced areas. We believe you have good knowledge in one of the following:

• military communication
• product development for defense
• telecommunications, satellite, and cloud
• security, zero-trust, and crypto

As a person, you are driven and have the ability to take initiative to push projects forward towards set goals. You have a strong interest in developing both people and the business, and you enjoy coaching and supporting others in their development. Your technical curiosity extends both theoretically and practically, and you have a strong desire to stay updated in relevant technical areas. We also see that you are communicative, helpful, and collaborate well with others to achieve success together. You can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

It is considered a merit if you have knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces Materiel Administration and the organization and maintenance information of the Armed Forces, as well as previous experience in systems engineering within the defense industry.

Travel is required for the position, and a B driver's license is a requirement.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
