As a solutions architect, your tasks will include everything from working with cross-government IT architecture to working with agile methodologies in a team. In the cross-government work, it mainly involves IT strategy and solution architecture. In the team, you will work on the design and implementation of new solutions as well as the operation and management of what the team deploys.
Our environment is complex and based on very high availability and security requirements, which requires all of us to contribute our expertise and be open to learning from each other.
Together, we deliver stability and create conditions for future demands for secure communication.
Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means you do not have the opportunity to work remotely. There will also be the possibility to work from Linköping. Other travel within Sweden may occur.
The qualifications we are looking for in you
Only those who meet the requirements below will be considered for the position.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in a similar role within IT architecture and design.
- At least 5 years of experience in storage and backup as well as virtualization.
- Knowledge of automation of IT infrastructure.
- You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Valid driver's license (B).
The position requires Swedish citizenship.
You, as an applicant, may also have skills that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:
- You have experience with agile methodologies.
- You have experience in design work together with other solutions architects in various areas of IT.
- You have experience in the implementation and further development of object storage.

The Security Police has high demands for security and confidentiality, therefore we expect you to have a high security awareness.
Employment conditions
Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. A satisfactory result in the security clearance with background check is also required, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment also entails an obligation to be placed in a military position.
