Information Architect in Health, Care and Welfare
Do you want to shape the future information structure within health, care, and welfare? We are looking for an information architect who drives semantic interoperability and leads modeling in collaboration with experts.
About the Department
The Infrastructure Department focuses on national digital infrastructure for the health, care, and welfare sector. The department primarily works to create conditions for interoperability, collaboration architecture, external collaboration, and the requirements arising from EHDS. The department is growing and is looking for new employees in several areas to work within the national digital infrastructure for the sector. We operate in Kalmar and Stockholm.

About the Position
The authority works according to an agile working method, based on SAFe, and you will operate both within the agile network organization and in existing line functions for collaboration architecture.
Creating interoperability between different actors in health, care, and welfare is challenging. Specifically complex is working with semantic interoperability, where you as an information architect will be a driving key resource in the work. You will work daily with and lead modeling (conceptual models, information models, process models) together with business experts and architects. The role exists within the collaboration architecture unit, which contributes with environmental analysis, direction, advice, and follow-up within the architecture area for the health, care, and welfare sector.
About You
We are looking for someone who has a high level of personal maturity and the ability to work independently. You take responsibility for your work and drive it forward with a clear focus on goals and results. At the same time, you are quality-conscious and meticulous.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant academic education (of at least 180 credits or 120 points according to the previous system) as an informatician, civil engineer, systems scientist, or equivalent, or work experience that we assess as equivalent
- Current multi-year work experience in conceptual and information modeling
- Current work experience and good knowledge of HL7 FHIR
- The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
- The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written English.
It is meritorious for the position if you have:
- Current work experience in software development
- Current work experience as an informatician or information architect in care, health, or welfare
- Current work experience from medical information models and ontologies
- Current work experience and knowledge of modeling notations such as Archimate and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Current work experience and knowledge of relevant international standards from ISO, HL7, CEN, and openEHR
- Current work experience and knowledge of coding systems and classifications within healthcare such as SNOMED and ICD.
