As the Deputy Sales Manager in the Saluhall, you play an important role in leading and distributing the daily work together with the Sales Manager. Together, you develop the business, strengthen the team, and create the best conditions for an extraordinary customer experience. You are involved in driving the work forward both strategically and operationally – always with the business and the customer in focus.

About the role

In the role of Deputy Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving sales, optimizing operations, and ensuring quality throughout the department.

You will actively work with sales planning, displays, and campaigns.
Be responsible for daily operations and allocate resources as needed.
Work with suppliers and negotiations to optimize the assortment and purchases.
Follow up on financial key figures such as sales, margins, and waste.
Ensure that the store's self-control program and workplace routines are followed.
Lead and coach sales leaders and employees to create an effective and inspiring work environment.
Drive development and improvement work within the Saluhall.
Act as a substitute for the Sales Manager of the Saluhall when needed.

About you

We are looking for a confident and engaged leader with a sharp business sense and a passion for food and sales. You are organized, action-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We see that you have:

Experience in leadership within the grocery retail sector, preferably from ICA.
Good knowledge of store economics, key figures, and sales optimization.
Solid experience working with manual perishables such as deli, fish, and/or in-store kitchens.
Understanding of food hygiene and handling of perishables.
Ability to coach and develop employees.
A structured and analytical ability.
Experience working with store systems such as AoB, StoreOffice, and Min Butik.

Meritorious

Experience with sales responsibility and budget work.
Knowledge of competitor monitoring and market analysis.
Experience in leadership training within ICA, such as BLU or FLU.

Scope and start date

The position is full-time with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours vary and include weekends. The employment is a permanent position with an initial probationary period.
