The Role of the Nurse

At the reception, you will work together with colleagues on telephone advice, assessment, and prioritization of emergency patients. The Psychiatric Care on-call team works with high availability in the patient's everyday life, and the tasks today consist of assessments via phone or home visits. The teams have a large network of contacts, both within the clinic and at the hospital, but also externally with, for example, the police, rescue services, and social services. An important part of the work is to maintain a good service level for patients and partners.

We offer you a permanent full-time position with shifts during the day, evening, and night according to a schedule. Start date by agreement.

The Organization You Will Work Within

The Psychiatric Clinic in Jönköping is one of the largest clinics in the region, providing both outpatient and inpatient care within specialist psychiatry. The operation has seven outpatient clinics, five inpatient wards, an administrative unit, and a psychiatric emergency department that offers emergency assessments around the clock. The clinic provides psychiatric specialist care for residents over 18 years old. Parts of the clinic are also a regional resource responsible for psychiatric intensive care, addiction care, forensic psychiatry, and on-call operations where we handle urgent cases within both the adult psychiatric clinic and the child and adolescent psychiatric clinic.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. If you have experience in psychiatric care and/or specialist training in psychiatry, it is seen as a positive but is not a requirement. If you are not a specialist nurse in psychiatry today, we would like you to be interested in further education. As travel is required in the position, a B driver's license is required.

We work together for the best of the patient, which makes our teamwork essential. It is also important that you, who work with us, are secure and stable with good self-awareness. You take responsibility for your task and organize and prioritize your work effectively, as well as easily adapt to changing circumstances. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
