About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Are you passionate about teaching Home Economics and want to create a learning environment where students develop and gain important life skills? The position involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for the students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lessons that cover both theoretical areas such as health, economics, and the environment, as well as practical components like cooking and food handling.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Mentorship
Assessment of students' performance and providing constructive feedback.
Monitoring students' development through individual conversations and documenting their progress.

You will actively participate in school meetings and help evaluate the content and methods of teaching to continuously improve the school's operations. You will also be responsible for organizing and participating in meetings with the 'Meal Council', initiated by the students. Together with the students and staff from the kitchen, you will drive issues related to food and sustainability forward.

We Are Looking For You

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with the qualifications to teach Home Economics for grades 6-9. You also have experience in both theoretical and practical teaching.

As a teacher, you need to have a positive attitude and the ability to create and maintain good relationships, collaborate across different functions, and adapt smoothly to changes.

You are required to have computer skills and easily utilize the digital tools available to succeed in your role.
