About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher in after-school care, you will work pedagogically and socially based on the goals and guidelines of the organization.

You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in accordance with applicable governing documents and actively work to develop the after-school care activities. Together with your team, you will be responsible for creating a safe environment for the students, both during school hours and in after-school care.

As a primary school teacher in after-school care, you will actively work to develop and drive the activities in accordance with applicable governing documents together with your team. You will plan and conduct teaching during both school and after-school hours together with other educational staff. Together, you will ensure that the activities are enjoyable, challenging, and creative. We work thematically, which means that schools work across subjects with an inspiring start.

Digital tools are used in teaching, and we work to promote the school's digital development in daily work, so we hope you have good IT skills in digital tools. Evening meetings occur in the form of conferences a few times per term.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher in after-school care, or has a degree in leisure pedagogy or a teaching degree for after-school pedagogical activities. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have the qualifications to teach music and Swedish as a second language.

You are driven by the desire to develop the school and after-school care activities and want to contribute to keeping them at the forefront. Your ability to collaborate is excellent, and you find it easy to build relationships with both students and colleagues as well as guardians. You are interested in working thematically and enjoy working in teams but are also expected to work independently.

As a person, you are creative, responsible, flexible, and attentive. Collaborating with others comes naturally to you, and you have the ability to communicate with colleagues, students, and guardians. You can see the different needs of all students, take into account their individual circumstances, and help them grow.

About the Workplace

Hagalundskolan is a single-parallel municipal F-6 school with approximately 185 students. We have activities within primary school, adapted primary school, and after-school care. It is a calm and safe school with access to nature and beautiful green areas. The school is located in Dalby, beautifully situated near Dalby Söderskog, about 10 kilometers east of Lund.
