About Aleris Eye Uppsala Aleris eye clinic in Uppsala is primarily operated on behalf of Region Uppsala. We also welcome insured and private-paying patients. We have annual outpatient activities with approximately 7,000 visits and perform about 1,800 cataract surgeries.

The business is in an exciting phase of development and expansion to meet future healthcare needs, where we need to expand our team with an ophthalmologist.

Our clinic is modernly equipped both technically and materially for examinations and treatments within each specialty. Experienced eye specialists work with us. You will become a significant part of our team.

The clinic has just moved to new, fresh premises centrally located in Uppsala.

The Role We are looking for an ophthalmologist who is interested in outpatient work. You will work at the clinic with regular outpatient tasks including glaucoma, diabetes, and referral reception. Some administrative work such as referral assessments is also included in the position. If there is interest in a combined outpatient position with cataract or plastic surgery, we are open to such a proposal.

About You

As a person We are looking for someone who values providing good care and maintaining high quality in patient work. In your work, you are adaptable and see the importance of accuracy. Background You are a physician with specialist training in ophthalmology. As a specialist physician, you are used to working independently and want to engage in the development of the business and, with your colleagues, strive for modern and efficient care. You who apply have a Swedish medical license. Good collaboration skills with other professional groups are a requirement.

The role requires a high degree of ability to work independently and flexibly while also understanding the importance of good collaboration with the entire clinic team. The days are both fun and creative, and the focus is always on patient safety and the patient's overall experience. If you are also driven, social, enjoy challenges and variety, you will fit well with us.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well both in speech and writing.
