JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you interested in making a difference in other people's lives? We are looking for engaged individuals who want to contribute their time and commitment to improve the everyday lives of people with disabilities. Just a few hours a week can create great joy and change lives.

Being a companion is a mission, not an employment, and suits you who already have a main occupation. For your engagement, you will be offered an hourly wage. Please note that we do not offer part-time or full-time positions.

As a companion, you help the individual get to and from activities outside the home. This can include helping with going for walks, visiting friends and relatives, or participating in cultural or leisure activities.

Right now, we are looking for companions for a specific assignment. The assignment involves accompanying a 60-year-old man with a passion for whisky and beer, who enjoys discovering new varieties. Occasionally taking a trip to Denmark or Österlen is highly appreciated. He also enjoys sports, and above all, he has a great interest in football.

The assignment is for 10 hours a month.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a positive view of people, who is responsible and attentive. You have the ability to maintain professionalism based on your assignment and work with a focus on the individual's needs and interests.

You may be a middle-aged man with similar interests as the care recipient, who can suggest fun activities to do together.

If you have experience in educational work, work within support for disabilities, or other care and support, that is a plus but not a requirement. Personal suitability is of great importance.
