Primary Care West is a base unit with four health centers in both urban and rural areas, distributed across four municipalities: Vindeln, Vännäs, Bjurholm, and Umeå. The health centers have close cooperation within the base unit. Good connections with local and regional transport facilitate commuting to, from, and between our units.

Vännäs Health Center, beautifully located by the banks of the Ume River about 30 km from Umeå city, is a brand new and modern facility. The health center is one of several primary care units in Västerbotten, and here, around forty employees work in various teams that, in addition to their own operations, also collaborate well with the municipality's various healthcare services. Our guiding principles are: friendly, clear, and consistent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a healthcare assistant with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You will perform patient-related analyses, venipuncture, teledermatoscopy, suture removal, lab controls, copd6, health examinations, phone bookings, and orders, among other tasks. The job is varied, including sample collections, EKG and blood pressure measurements, orders to the supply room, laundry, and assistance with minor surgeries.

Furthermore, you will also be part of our assessment team that works with the acute flow of patients. In our assessment team, you will work together with district nurses and doctors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a certified healthcare assistant education. Since healthcare assistant is a protected title, you need to present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively, a service certificate that allows you to use the title until June 30, 2033, under the transitional provisions of the National Board of Health and Welfare.

It is an advantage if you have some work experience, preferably with experience in primary care.

You are a present and service-oriented person who contributes to change work and a good work environment. You enjoy working independently but also being part of a team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
