JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As MAS, you ensure that patients receive safe, appropriate, and high-quality healthcare. This includes ensuring clear routines for contact with doctors and other healthcare personnel and ensuring that patients receive the prescribed care.

To maintain high patient safety, you are also responsible for medication management and make decisions about delegation. Documentation is an important part of the work, and you ensure that patient records are maintained according to current guidelines. If a patient suffers serious injury or illness in connection with care and treatment, or if there is a risk of this, you report it to the municipal board.

In your role, you also have a strategic responsibility for developing and quality assuring care within the social administration. Through collaboration with colleagues, patients, and authorities, you work for a safe and cohesive care chain.

To identify risks and areas for improvement, you follow developments in healthcare and conduct risk assessments. If necessary, you initiate analyses and process improvements to strengthen patient safety throughout the administration.

You are also responsible for producing the patient safety report. The work involves identifying and analyzing deficiencies, proposing measures, and assessing resource needs to continue developing safe care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience in healthcare, preferably in a leadership role where you have driven change and development work. You thrive in team settings and have a natural ability to see the whole picture in the care operations. To succeed in this position, you need solid knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as a strategic ability to implement these in practice by developing and implementing routines that ensure high care quality and patient safety.

Structure and goal orientation characterize your working method. You follow clear processes and find it easy to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and verbally. By communicating clearly and convincingly, you create trust, are listened to, and gain the respect of others. Collaboration is a natural part of your professional life, and you adapt to find solutions that benefit all parties, always with a focus on the common goal.

You also have good analytical skills and strategic thinking. Seeing connections in complex information and environments comes naturally to you, and you solve problems without losing the overall perspective.

The staff of the social office provides care, support, and assistance to people throughout Skellefteå. They may be elderly, people with physical or mental disabilities, or individuals and families in need of special support for a period.

Our operations are located throughout the municipality, and we have specialists in several areas of care, support, nutrition, and activation for people with disabilities, addiction treatment, family counseling, and much more.
