Sorsele medical station, with about 30 employees, functions as a small mini-hospital with emergency reception, medical consultations, maternal and child health care, as well as inpatient care places. We provide our population with access to healthcare around the clock. The base unit also includes Storuman and Tärnaby. The entire unit consists of about 100 employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe. You work professionally, always keeping the patient in focus. As a nurse, you must address the patients' medical and specific nursing needs and then plan and prioritize the actions to be taken. The role of the nurse also involves leading and motivating other nursing staff to create a good working environment and provide quality care together.

We are now looking for nurses for summer vacancies in both the department and the reception.

As a nurse in the department, you take care of patients in the emergency care department and handle acute on-call cases or phone calls that come in during your shift.

As a nurse in the reception, you work with telephone advice, scheduled and acute reception visits, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in inpatient care, primary care, and/or emergency care is an advantage but not a requirement.

You who apply preferably have experience in the profession and a genuine interest in working with health and medical care in rural areas. You are a reliable and loyal person who does not shy away from challenges. Your work is characterized by flexibility and commitment, and you see teamwork as a given. We work from a person-centered approach where the goal is to strengthen and utilize the patient's own abilities and resources. In an active and engaged manner, based on your professional role, you are expected to participate in the overall care and support of the patient with the aim of ensuring good and safe care.
