Property Manager at Lerum Municipality

Lerum Municipality is known for its scenic locations with lakes and forests. The municipality has 3,200 employees and 43,000 residents but expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Lerum is only a 20-minute commute from Gothenburg and is currently facing a development-intensive period with many exciting projects underway, ranging from schools to housing. The municipality works to ensure good service, high welfare, and a thriving business climate.

The municipality manages approximately 240,000 m² of premises spread over about 250 properties. Our mission is to provide municipal operations with premises and maintain them in a long-term property and municipal economically sustainable manner.

The Operations and Management Unit is now seeking an additional Property Manager, where you will be the tenant's first point of contact for all management-related questions.

The position is located within the Property and Investment operational area in the Community Building Sector and consists of the municipality's project unit, property unit, operations and management unit, and a staff. Together, we are about 60 employees working to build, manage, and maintain our municipal properties.

The unit consists of property managers, operations technicians, service technicians, and caretakers, totaling 19 employees.

The work is based at Garveriet or Technical Service premises in Stenkullen, which are easily accessible by commuter train and bus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities as a Property Manager include planning and responsibility for repairs, supervision of buildings and land facilities. You will work independently but also together with other operations and management staff on many issues. You will have meetings with tenants, follow up on ordered services, and maintain close dialogue and follow-up with our contracted framework agreement contractors. You will have a certain budget responsibility. You will also work with warranty reconciliations on our properties.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school education in construction and solid and broad construction technical knowledge.

You have a B driver's license.

You have good computer skills and experience working with various programs and systems.

It is advantageous if you have good local knowledge and have worked in Bluebean, Proceedo, and Dedu.
