JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you the one who makes it possible to stay at home? We are now looking for nursing assistants for the home care service at Torpavallsgatan south. We share premises with three other home care units.

Working in elderly care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy of life and well-being. The goal is for the care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide good care and social support. You will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while making a difference for those we are here for. Our operations are ongoing every day, which means that working hours are during the day, evening, and weekends.

Work in home care means that you support and assist the care recipient in their own home based on approved services. You will travel to the individual’s home on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. You will also perform health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation from a nurse. All documentation is done digitally.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, and you can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title.
• Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills (IT knowledge).
• You have experience with cycling and can use an e-bike in your work.

Meritorious but not required:

• Further education focused on dementia or geriatric psychiatry.
• Experience from care work, preferably within home care.
• Experience with social documentation and reception roles.
• B driver's license and driving experience.
