Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is resilient, attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who matches the following:

• wants to work with our male client in his 75s living in Skärhamn on Tjörn
• has very good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
• has experience with MS

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license and a car to get to the workplace
• share the client's interests in nature, exercise, and outdoor activities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position and is approximately 70%. The job involves working during the day and evening from week 23 to 34.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date

June 2, but we would like you to have the opportunity to start with introductory shifts already now and possibly a few working shifts. Selection is ongoing, so do not wait to apply.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
