ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for an engineer for our client AFRY in Gothenburg. Here you will work in an exciting technical environment with future solutions. You will work within the section for electrical, instrumentation, and automation in AFRY's Process Industries division. The section primarily operates within the process industry, where projects are driven either in-house from AFRY's office in Gothenburg or on-site with clients located throughout the Gothenburg area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a junior power engineer, you will have a varied role where you will work on upgrades of existing facilities and participate in new projects. You will work in a team with support from senior colleagues and have the opportunity to develop in electrical design and construction.

• Perform calculations, design, and specifications as well as prepare installation and drawing documentation.
• Assist in the dismantling, installation, and testing of new electrical equipment.
• Create layouts, request for proposals, and construction drawings.
• Calculate and design electrical systems.
• Replace and upgrade electrical equipment, identify existing components, and update documentation according to current procedures.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in electrical power
• Has an interest in electrical design
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in the process industry
• Experience in electrical design
