About Us
At Gothenburg Assessment Team, we conduct investigations on behalf of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, known as Activity Ability Assessments (AFU).
We also assess intellectual disabilities and low theoretical ability on referral from primary care, as well as assessing work capacity on referral from occupational health care in the Västra Götaland region. The patients who come to us are or risk becoming sick-listed. Many have complex issues and multiple perspectives are needed. Each profession in our team – occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, and psychologists – contributes with their expertise. Great emphasis is placed on teamwork where everyone's competence is important.
About the Job
As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with assessments in a multidisciplinary team. The working method itself promotes good cohesion in the workplace and there is a strong team spirit here. You will also be part of the occupational therapist group, which consists of several colleagues with expertise and experience from different fields. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn from each other.
The occupational therapist's assignment is clearly defined and the role is well-defined. If you are used to treatment work, you will find that you do not risk taking work home in the same way.
Every day you meet new patients and you leave with a completed assignment. This also makes the work varied. We create investigations and referral responses together in dialogue.
Documentation is done in the AsynjaVisph journal system. Your working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
About You
You should be a licensed occupational therapist with a few years of clinical experience. We prefer that you have experience or a strong interest in a multimodal approach. You need to have completed the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's advanced training in insurance medicine to be eligible to issue AFU statements. The training is held in Linköping on May 7-8 and is funded by the employer.
We value flexibility, good collaboration skills, and seeing the individual as a multifaceted whole. You enjoy working in a team as a large part of the assignment involves making joint assessments with other professions. You should have a strong interest in patients with a complex problem of pain, discomfort, and mental health issues. You are expected to actively participate in the development work of the organization. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Conditions
Permanent employment, 100%. Start as soon as possible by agreement.
Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period. Welcome with your application!
