Welcome to Närhälsan Stenungsund health center.

We are a centrally located health center with excellent public transport – both train and bus – within a comfortable walking distance. Here, a dedicated team consisting of 6 general practitioners, ST/BT doctors, AT doctors, as well as nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and psychologists work. Together, we form a wonderful team with a high ceiling and close to laughter, with about 50 employees. About the job

Your tasks at the health center are varied, with the patient in focus. The work consists of independent work in the laboratory with sampling and controls, assisting doctors with wounds and minor surgeries, as well as performing common examinations such as blood pressure measurement and EKG examination. Areas such as wound dressings, suture removal, and being responsible for your own nursing reception may also be included.

You will work both independently and in teams with other staff categories at the health center. Inventory ordering and preparing examination rooms are part of the daily work. We work in the Asynja Visph journal system. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also part of your role at the health center.

About you

You have documented training as a nursing assistant. Experience working in a health center and venous sampling is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with wound dressings, suture removal, blood pressure measurement, and running your own nursing reception. Supervisor training is desirable.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and flexibility in your way of working. The workload is varied and sometimes high, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize among your tasks. A professional approach and good treatment towards customers, patients, and colleagues is a given for you. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within health and care.
