About us

Närhälsan Alingsås emergency center is an evening and weekend open emergency clinic located in the same premises as Närhälsan Sörhaga health center.

Each shift is staffed by a team of six employees including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Good collaboration in a positive work environment is important to us. We view conducting research positively and thereby contribute to advancing healthcare development. We offer competence supply and development opportunities within the position of treatment nurse.

The premises are centrally located in Alingsås, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 22:00 and on holidays from 10:00 to 16:00. We also work with digital accessibility in the form of telephone advice, Monday to Friday from 14:30 to 16:30 and on holidays from 08:30 to 09:30. The mission of the emergency center is to provide good care during emergency hours.

About the job

At the emergency center, incoming patients are prioritized in our drop-in clinic. Your tasks span a wide range and cover the general medical field where you meet patients of all ages and situations. We work with triage and patient flows and have well-established routines and protocols to support you in this. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in first-line care, both through digital healthcare meetings and at the clinic.

The job involves acute visits. You work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration with your colleagues occurs within the unit and transprofessionally in the team, but also together with other units such as the emergency department, ambulance, and health center. For us, it is important to have an open environment, to utilize each other's competencies, and to work without prestige. Together with the health center management, we are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward.

About you

You are a licensed nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience from working in primary care and/or emergency care, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other professions. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We encourage you to have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

The position is part-time with a workload of 50-75%.

About the recruitment process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
