Do you want to help shape the future of acute child and adolescent psychiatry? We are now looking for two psychiatric nurses who want to work in a dynamic and varied environment with highly specialized care within child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).

With us, you will have the opportunity to rotate between our mobile team, emergency department, and acute care ward, providing a unique variation in work and broad competence. This means that one day you may be out meeting patients in their home environment, and the next day handling acute admissions on the ward. About our open position
For our emergency unit for children and adolescents, we are now looking for someone interested in working with children/adolescents and families from a child psychiatric perspective within our emergency unit. As a psychiatric nurse with us, you will work on our acute ward where we have six beds, as well as in our emergency department where we conduct acute assessments around the clock. The future plan is to start a transitional care team that will work with intensive treatment in a day care format, as well as a mobile team aimed at providing adequate help and support at home. This team will be staffed by personnel from the emergency unit for children and adolescents. We will collaborate extensively within the unit to provide the best possible care for young people and their families. In the unit, you will work alongside the unit manager, senior physician, resident physician, social worker, mental health assistants, nursing assistants, social pedagogues, and secretaries.

About us
The emergency unit is currently undergoing an inspiring and challenging development process, and since autumn 2020, we have been in completely new and adapted premises in the Psychiatry Quarter. We actively collaborate with other partners such as schools, social services, and pediatric medicine, recognizing the importance of good cooperation for our patients and their families. The unit provides LPT care.

Your profile
You who are applying are a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatry. Experience from child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, or work with children and adolescents is an advantage. For the position, it is required that you have good collaborative skills while being confident in yourself and able to work independently. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability.
