Your New Job

Your tasks will involve personal care, daily chores, social activities, medication management, and various responsibilities.

You will also actively work with case management, implementation plans, and social documentation, focusing on building good relationships and a salutogenic approach. Together with your team, you will promote health and focus on the strengths and opportunities of each individual. The goal is for each person to have a meaningful everyday life and feel well-being. At Fridhäll, we value access to activities and social time. To create good conditions for this, care assistants do not clean the apartments; trained cleaning staff take care of this. All care is tailored to the individual's needs, wishes, and circumstances.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, preferably with experience in elderly care. Experience with night shifts is an advantage.

To succeed in the role of care assistant with us, we believe you are flexible, service-oriented, and capable of independently planning and executing your work. You are stable and have the ability to handle a dynamic everyday life while maintaining calm even in unforeseen or urgent situations. You also possess good collaboration skills, good communication skills, and prioritize the best interests of the individual and the organization in your actions and decision-making. It is important that you can communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the job involves significant contact with tenants, relatives, and colleagues, as well as written documentation. Knowledge and experience with digital systems are a merit.

Welcome to Us

Fridhälls Elderly Home is located in beautiful Taberg, south of Jönköping. Fridhäll consists of 40 apartments, of which 10 are for individuals with cognitive impairments. There is also a short-term placement and a guaranteed placement where we receive elderly citizens with varying needs.

At Fridhälls Elderly Home, we work with a health-promoting approach and center the individual's needs. We operate based on the national value foundation that elderly citizens should be able to live a dignified life and feel well-being. Our task is to provide tenants at Fridhäll with a safe living environment with daily content that they can influence. The working hours are primarily during the night, but evening shifts may also occur. Social activities are offered most days, and sometimes several times a day.

Good to Know

The position is a permanent full-time position, night shift, with a start date according to agreement. NOTE! Although the position is primarily a night shift, work during days and evenings may also occur. We work with co-planning, which means that work with several citizens may be relevant. Jönköping Municipality strives for full-time as the norm and always offers a 100% employment rate.

Before employment begins and an employment contract is signed, you who are offered the position will first meet with Municipal Health Services to undergo a health check. This health check is a requirement in the recruitment for all our night shift positions.

In your application, we want a personal letter, a CV, and attached diploma and employment certificates. All your employment must be verifiable, and it should be clear what extent you have worked, what type of employment has been relevant, and what position you have held.

Before employment is finalized, a background check will be conducted where you must present an extract from the criminal record. In this recruitment, the extract called “Check your own information in the criminal record” applies. If you have proof of a protected professional title, this should be attached to your application.
