About the position

In the role of Construction Engineer at Byggpartner, you play a key role in our projects by contributing from early stages with planning, procurement, and design to purchasing, production calculations, schedules, reconciliations, and forecasting work. A large part of our project economy is based on strategic purchases of materials and services, where your expertise is crucial. As a construction engineer, you are responsible for planning and executing purchases that ensure the success of the projects.

When selecting suppliers, it is not just the lowest price that matters - the decision must also be based on the supplier's ability to meet our goals in sustainability, economy, time, and quality. Your contribution will be vital in creating long-term value and sustainable project results. Your closest team consists of the project's Project Manager and Site Manager.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working broadly within finance, design, and purchasing. You are proactive and independent in your work, have an easy time building relationships, and possess good collaboration skills. You are business-minded and meticulous while also being innovative and able to come up with new solutions for our clients' best interests. We see that you have several years of experience in a similar position, and experience from production is an additional merit. You should have a technical background in construction, preferably at the university level or equivalent knowledge. We place great importance on you as a person fitting into our organization and what we expect from the role of construction engineer.
