In northern Dalarna, approximately 35,000 residents live, and there are over 1,000 companies that, along with a large number of vacation homes and tourists, both summer and winter, need to be provided with drinking water and sustainable waste management solutions. With the mission to promote 'a sustainable life - together', Nodava AB (Northern Dalarna Water & Waste) is a municipal company, jointly owned by the municipalities of Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen.

An important task within Nodava is the sustainable management of the owner municipalities' water and sewage (VA) networks. We are now looking for someone who wants a developing job as a network technician/pipe layer within VA Nodava northern, located in Idre/Särna. As a colleague with us, you will be part of a competent, friendly, and dedicated team.

Your tasks

• Perform pipeline work for water and sewage (VA).
• Conduct troubleshooting within the network.
• Perform service and maintenance within the network as well as on tools, equipment, and machines.
• Conduct risk assessments and work according to applicable legislation.
• Inform affected parties about interruptions and shutdowns.
• Document and report according to legal requirements and routines.
• Special responsibilities for areas of expertise may occur.

The assignment includes on-call duty according to a schedule.

Your profile

The job as a network technician in Nodava is developing and varied. It suits you who enjoy working outdoors. We prefer that you have a high school education or technical vocational training in construction and civil engineering or equivalent knowledge level acquired in another way. The work requires experience and the ability to handle tools, machines, and instruments. For certain tasks such as reporting and documentation via computer, you should have basic IT skills.

The work requires collaboration skills and that you remain calm and stable even in stressful situations. Nodava aims for satisfied customers and high quality in delivery. To achieve this, your ability to meet people respectfully and professionally in connection with interruptions and shutdowns is very important.

The assignment includes certain ergonomically demanding tasks where you should be able to make risk assessments and act safely according to applicable occupational safety routines. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing work on roads, excavation work, and other hazardous work is therefore also advantageous.

Your workplace is in the northern part of Nodava's operational area, which geographically includes Idre and Särna in Älvdalen municipality. The work involves travel, so a B driver's license is a requirement. The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start according to agreement.
