We are now looking for an engaged dental nurse for our clinic.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

In Kortedala, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The main duties include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Managing your own patients for prophylaxis, oral health assessments, and onboarding

The position also includes:

• Administrative work
• Work in sterilization and reception
• Health-promoting work within BHV, special housing

The clinic is located at Kortedala Torg, where there is a health center, restaurants, and several different shops. The clinic is in the same building as the library and is just a stone's throw from the tram stop. We have 6 dentists, 4 dental hygienists, 6 dental nurses, and 3 receptionists working with us. We operate according to the “7-19 model,” meaning the clinic is open from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in Swedish equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 15. We welcome your application.
