We are looking for a senior consultant who can take full responsibility for governance, management, and budgeting within a network area at a central Swedish authority. The role is based in Stockholm and requires a person who can confidently lead a team of 4–8 network technicians while building and monitoring budgets and investment plans, as well as representing the group in strategic forums and meetings.

This is a role for someone who combines technical understanding, structure, and financial competence, and who thrives in a government-controlled, critical IT environment.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Lead a business-critical network team in a high-security government environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and follow up on budget and investment needs with a horizon of 1–3 years
• Gather needs from the business and translate them into cost forecasts and investments
• Lead the daily work of a team of 4–8 network technicians
• Use agile working methods and tools to visualize and prioritize work
• Build technical roadmaps for services and deliveries within the network area
• Represent the group in steering committee meetings, planning forums, and technical contexts
• Support the team in driving improvement work and delivery reliability

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid experience in financial work, budgeting, and investments within IT
• Experienced leader with the ability to create structure, support, and direction for technical teams
• Good understanding of network technology and related infrastructure
• Familiarity with agile methods and leading teams in a visualized work environment
• Strong communication skills – you can represent both technology and business

OTHER

• Swedish citizenship is required, as well as passing a security clearance.
• Available for work on-site in Stockholm
• Experience from government or public sector is a plus
