Summer Substitute Administrator at the National Board of Forensic Medicine

At the National Board of Forensic Medicine, you have the opportunity to practice your profession while contributing with answers in the legal chain and creating a legally secure society together with your colleagues.

We are now looking for a summer substitute administrator for the forensic medicine department!

The Department of Forensic Medicine conducts approximately 5,500 forensic autopsies each year on behalf of the police and prosecutors. We also investigate suspected perpetrators and victims of violent crimes. Within the Department of Forensic Medicine, there are six forensic units located in Umeå, Uppsala, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, and Lund.

Your assignment

As an administrator/secretary, your work will consist of transcribing protocols, statements, and opinions from digital dictations made in connection with forensic examinations, as well as other usual administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Administrative education, preferably with a focus on medical secretary, or other experience/education that the employer considers equivalent.
• Good computer skills and solid knowledge of the Office suite, with a focus on fluent work in Word.
• Good communication skills and the ability to express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious

• Experience in transcription from dictation.
• Experience in administrative work within a government agency.

Personal qualities and abilities

To handle the content of the operation, where difficult events are described and documented, it is required that you are a stable person with integrity and empathetic ability. The role also requires you to be meticulous and structured, as well as service-oriented and unpretentious. We also see that you have a positive attitude and excellent collaboration skills.

Employment

The employment is a fixed-term full-time position during the period of June to August. Placement at the forensic unit in Lund. The National Board of Forensic Medicine applies individual salary setting.
