Your upcoming role As a team leader at SJ Stockholmståg, you will be part of a cheerful team with high problem-solving skills. Through your leadership, you and your team will ensure that our commuter trains are intact, clean, and safe.

In the role of team leader, you have a key function in leading the daily work within the group. You will represent the employer in matters concerning working environment, traffic safety, and production efficiency.

In this role, you will:

• Plan, administer, and lead the work during shifts to ensure that maintenance work on the vehicles is completed and the vehicles are ready for traffic
• Be responsible for ensuring that production meets goals, safety requirements, and quality standards
• Support your colleagues in maintenance work through technical tasks in electronics, mechanics, and pneumatics when needed.

In this role, you will report to the Production Manager. The position is full-time and primarily scheduled during the night, with work located in Bro. Daytime work may occur to collaborate with team leaders on the day shift.

Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership skills
• At least a high school education, preferably with a technical or automotive focus
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, vehicle maintenance, and mechanics is an advantage
• Good understanding of Swedish in speech and writing; work in English may also occur

SJ Stockholmståg (SJP) is a subsidiary of SJ AB and has had total responsibility for commuter trains since March 3, 2024; traffic, maintenance, and service. Commuter train traffic is an important artery for many residents in the Stockholm region. On a typical Tuesday, over 340,000 people travel with the commuter trains in Stockholm, and as the city grows, it is our responsibility to offer the opportunity to travel sustainably.
